Daniel and I met way back in middle school.  He played the trumpet, and I played the flute.  Our freshman year in high school we happened to be in the same geometry class.  Although he doesn't admit it, he asked me to go to a dance with him once through a friend...and I said no.  We didn't have any classes together from that point on.  God reintroduced us our junior year of high school.  I started going to the church his family went to and we both were leaders in the youth group.  There was something about him-he was so easy to be around, his carefree attitude was contagious, and he was the most sincere guy I knew.  God must have been working in both of our hearts because Daniel ended up asking me to our junior prom.  We started officially dating our senior year.  I'll never forget eagerly anticipating when he would finally ask me out.  His exact words were, "So, do you want to make this official?"  Oh, young love! 

From that point on, we were inseparable.  After deciding to go away to college a couple years later we went our separate ways.  God knew our true path and our friendship at the time developed into a long distance relationship.  Daniel always said I'm the type of girl you marry.  I would journal about God showing me who my husband would be, while praying that Daniel was the one.  I'd always knows he was the one.  

Daniel proposed in May 2008, and we were married that November.  It was the happiest day of our lives.  

He is my better half, the icing to my cupcake, and my forever love.  He makes me smile like no one else, can crack the best jokes when I want to cry, and always remind me to step back and look at the big picture of life.
