friday letters
Dear husband of mine, I am so happy that you finally bottled your beer. You were checking on your brew as if it was your baby....first thing in the morning, when you got home from work, before you went to bed. And now that it's bottled, I can't wait to try it in just a couple of weeks. Dear new running shoes, I can't wait to take you out on a nice, long run. You proved you were utterly comfortable during our insanity workout this morning! Dear zucchini, I love that you're in season and I love the way you have a subtle taste in brownies. Dear Palm Springs, words can't fully express how excited I am to sip in all your sunshine next week. Asking if I need a vacation is a rhetorical question. Dear Padres, I really hope you win tomorrow! Dear Olympics, I really, really, really miss you. Not having cable was never hard until now. Now I need to go be an "olympic orphan" at my friends' houses who have graciously agreed to record gymnastics for me. Dear husband, thank you for loving me unconditionally, always putting a smile on my face, and for making me laugh uncontrollably when you dance for me in the car.

friday letters
Dear husband, thank you for calling me from Trader Joe's professing your love for me for doing the grocery shopping. I was very delighted to feel so appreciated and felt really bad how overwhelmed you were by the immense amount of peanut butter choices. Dear Costco, $10 for 20 glasses put the biggest grin on my face. Take that overly expensive Crate and Barrel glasses that didn't last 3 years. Now let's just cross our fingers we don't break one in the first week! Dear week, you really were a doozy. When it rains it pours! Dear Pinterest, without you I wouldn't have been able to make all the amazing pillows sitting on my couch and this adorable soap pump. I still swoon over it when I walk into the bathroom.
Dear San Diego, your beautiful weather is unbelievable. Especially sitting water front, enjoying a delicious picnic with friends. Sometimes I pinch myself when I realize that I live here. Dear 1 Thes. 5:16-18, thank you for giving me encouragement this week and reminding me to pray and be grateful through the little storms that pass through our lives. Dear husband, tomorrow you have the day off of work. I fully intend to spend every moment with you, I miss you dearly, and I think we will start the day off with coffee in bed and then enjoy some rays at the beach. Thank you for loving me so very much.

Dear husband of mine, thank you for picking up coffee creamer yesterday. My eyes were twinkling with joy when I opened the fridge this morning, you sure do know a why to my heart. Dear green jeans, I love you so much but I think that I've worn you at least three times this week. Is it acceptable if they have all been different outfits? I think we might need a break, but let me find another cute pair first. Dear Forever 21, thank you for providing a nice bit of laughter with your fashion sense. Overalls??? Really?!?! I mean, if I wanted to feel like I was in middle school all over again and rehash awkward memories then I might wear you, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Dear Kylee, I have loved every morning that we tiredly say "good morning" to one another, sip our coffee in a daze, and I pack you a lunch as you rush off to work. Must you really go home on Sunday? Dear RoadRunner Sports, your Adventure Run is amazing!! I may have cut my hand jumping a fence and I didn't win anything from the raffle, but it was literally the funnest run ever. Dear Insanity, must you be so insane? Thank you for knowing how to make this girl have a good ol' sweat and for making me feel sore all over every morning this week. Dear husband, I can't wait to spend all day with you today! What shall we do? Maybe a bike ride??? The beach??? The options are endless and I can't wait to make memories with you.
Love,
Jamie

Dear summer, thank you for your gorgeous weather, but where were you on the 4th??? I mean, the beach is still pretty on a gloomy day but did the sun really have to hide the entire time? Also, I promise that one of these days I will finally get to enjoy you, relax, and soak up all of your beautiful rays of sunshine.
Dear Andrea, you are extremely beautiful inside and out-don't ever let anyone make you feel otherwise. Always remember that God created you, He knows every hair on your head, and you are "fearfully and wonderfully made". Also, you're a mean card player. A little competitive???
Dear barre studio, thank you for my first ever barre class that kicked my booty. I definitely woke up the next day feeling sore and loved every second of it.
Dear anxiety, we are not friends. I've worked so hard to deal with you, work through it, find peace, and you have reared your ugly head once again. I know that my prayers are being heard and hold fast to Matthew 6:25-27.
Dear Dana at Girl on the Go, three words: Best. Facial. Ever.
Dear husband of mine, you are so gosh darn handsome. I love you more than words can say, and I especially love that you are always there for me, getting me through disappointments and happy times. I also love how you think I'm funny, that you laugh at me but make me think you're really laughing with me, and that you can always put a smile on my face.
Dear Kylee, one more day!!!! I can barely stand the fact that you, my bf, will be here tomorrow. Currently I'm doing a happy dance in the living room, and the thought of spending so much time with you makes my heart overflow with joy. Pool, wine and cheese, coffee, hikes, Cucina Urbana, the list goes on and on...
Dear Heavenly Father, I love the fact that blogging has brought me closer to you in the past couple of weeks. Each devotion in the morning speaks directly to my soul, and you leave me speechless every time. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for being bigger than me, for having the power to overcome everything that hurts, thank you for loving me for all my sins and showing me how to be Christ-like.
