If you didn't think my husband was a funny man from my last post, this might finally convince you. Last night we had the lovely Joey and Andrea over for dinner! I have to first tell you why this was so special. Andrea and Joey were married in July, then Joey deployed just 3 weeks later. His expected return home was between late October and early November. Well, Andrea got quite the surprise when Joey walked out of her parents' garage this past Monday-leaving her speechless! We were so happy to have him home and enjoy some scrumptious pizza!
On the menu for the evening: BBQ chicken pizza, salad, and homemade breadsticks.
Backstory: You all know we have a crazy cat! One minute she is loving all up on you and the next she thinks she is a lion while attacking your arm.
Okay, back to the story....
Joey looked over into the living room and noticed Minnie was playing with something. It was a MOUSE! The room was filled with screams, squeals, and lots of jumping up and down. (Maybe that was just me) The boys decided that they could take the mouse on and get it out of the house, and I decided to video tape because what was unfolding before my eyes was hysterical.
My favorite parts include: (1) the husband checking on the pizza, (2) my husband's chonies hanging out for the world to see (sorry mom!), (3) my husband's funny man dance as he proudly stated "get out of my house little mouse", (4) Joey's intense concentration, (5) Andrea's uncontrollable laughter in the background.
Luckily the boys were successful and we could enjoy our pizza (if you couldn't tell that was a priority from the video).
This is why I love this man: he continually makes me laugh harder than I ever have before.
