So, we all know that I am OBSESSED with blogs and Pinterest! Well, I'm using it for good and recreating things for my classroom. Before we get to all of the photos that make my heart swoon and stress level go up a bit, why don't I give you a sneak peek of my room! This year I'm doing a bumble bee theme. It started off as the Hundred Acre Woods with bumble bees, and the bees have taken over!
My reading door. Each book the children read at home with the parents earns them a sticker. 10 stickers equals a choice from our "bee"havior catalog. (That's coming up in a bit!)
My wonderful friend, Lindsay, helped me make a tree in my classroom. I will have to show you a better picture very soon. This bulletin board is for their writing. I just love the little bees and dashes!
This is my draw-dropping Craigslist find! It is an easel that holds big books in the middle, AND there are shelves below for me to put everything during whole group instruction. I am in LOVE with it!!!
{I had to put the kids to work for just a bit, they love helping out in my class!}
Okay...now here are all of my Pinterest finds!!!
I just made this today and found it via Pinterest. It goes on my door and tells where the class is at.
Another teacher blog! I just recreated this last week for my sub folder!
I love First Grader at Last! If you look back at my easel you will see that I already made this for my class! My treasure chest takes up SO much room and I'm constantly in need of prizes. So, to save me money and time I followed her lead with this "catalog" where students can choose something as a prize instead. Some include sitting at my desk for the day, lunch with me, swapping desks with a friend, and wearing a hat to school.
First Grade Fresh's listening center wall is my inspiration right now. I have the wall trimmed, and am now making the posters to hang! I'm loving the folder with the papers instead of finding yet another bin to put everything.
I don't quite remember where I came across this but it eventually made it into my Pinterest and can't wait for the husband to cut my wood so that I can make these! They are going to be at my listening center where I already have crates filled with books and tapes.
So my goal is to have my room finished this week...eeks! I have been working on it, and my list keeps getting smaller and smaller. Hopefully Thursday's trip will be the last one and I can have one week of rest and relaxation before having to officially go back to work.

Sooooo adorable! I'm sure your classroom looks amazing!
