easy-peasy chicken (ROTW returns!)

So I know there has not been a ROTW (recipe of the week) at all recently.  That's not to say I haven't been cooking, because there have been tons of action in the kitchen this summer, but it's hard snapping pics of everything you make step-by-step.

Anyways, I whipped up dinner the other night and it was amazing!  I was a little apprehensive because I didn't have a recipe, threw simple ingredients together, and crossed my fingers.  Given that, there are not pics of each step so I'll try to detail the directions as much as possible.
Lemon Garlic Chicken
1 lb. chicken drumsticks
2 lemons
1 T. olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
3 cloves garlic
fresh rosemary and sage (about 1 T. each)

First, I squeezed the juice from one lemon into my bowl.  Then, I added minced garlic (we LOVE garlic), olive oil, and salt and pepper to the bowl.
Next, I headed ou to my little herb garden and clipped some rosemary and sage, washed, and minced them.  These also got added to the bowl.
Then, mix everything and then place your chicken into the mixture.
Let it marinade for about 15 minutes.
Lastly, throw it onto the grill, brushing the leftover mixture onto it every couple of minutes.

The squash we just tossed with olive oil and salt and pepper, then grilled with the chicken.  Next time I want to add a little bit more flavor as they turned out a little bitter.  However, the asparagus was phenomenal!  I steamed it with some olive oil and salt and pepper.  When it was about halfway done, I threw in one clove minced garlic.  It was so tender and tasty, I couldn't believe it myself!
Oh, we grilled one whole lemon and squeezed them onto our chicken.  Grilled lemon is amazing.  It takes on a different taste and truly brought out the flavor in the chicken.

The husband loved it as well!  He went back for seconds, which means he definitely approved of the  meal!
