2. Miss Andrea and I caught up on some much needed "girl time" while cheering on the Padres. The game began extra special with Trevor Hoffman's retirement ceremony. It brought back many memories of attending games with my family when I was younger and hearing "Hells Bells" blare while snacking on peanuts.
3. My little niece and I made cookies while I babysat. It was so fun to teach her how to stir the batter. She mimicked all of my movements, and even tried to sneak some dough...she's a natural!
4. 21 postcards were wrote this week and 21 eager kindergarteners will soon find them in their mailbox!
5. Pinterest inspiration helped me add the perfect touch to my classroom. I love these "bee promises" that I found here! They are so stinking cute!
6. I got my craft on and made my first wreath that at this blog. I need to work on it a little bit more, it's still not quite to my liking yet.
7. Ever since the husband and I had the perfect little coffee date and we focused on each other's love languages, I have been sticking with my challenge. Each day I am focusing on providing him with words of affirmation, being specific about what I thank and encourage him for, and verbally appreciating him more.
I love shifting my thinking from what I need to what he needs and deserves!
